What We Do

Complete Auto Care Under One Roof

Whether it's a check-engine light, squeaky brakes, or a routine tune-up, we've got the tools, training, and patience to get it right the first time.

Oil & Fluid Changes

Quick, thorough oil changes with quality filters and fluids. We top off your coolant, brake fluid, and transmission fluid while we're at it.

Brake Service

Pads, rotors, calipers, and brake fluid — we diagnose and repair all brake systems. Safe stopping starts here.

Engine Diagnostics

Check-engine light on? We use advanced OBD-II scanning to pinpoint the problem fast — no guessing, no upselling.

Suspension & Steering

Shocks, struts, alignment, and power steering repairs. If your ride feels rough or pulls to one side, we'll set it right.

A/C & Heating

Maine winters are brutal and summers can be sweltering. We repair compressors, blend doors, heaters, and refrigerant leaks.

State Inspection

Quick, thorough Maine state inspections. We'll tell you exactly what passes and what needs attention before you hit the road.

Why Jackson Automotive

A Shop You Can Actually Trust

We know how scary it is to hand your keys to a stranger. That's why we treat every car like it's our own — and every customer like a neighbor.

No Surprises, Ever

We explain every repair in plain English before we touch a wrench. You'll always know what's wrong, what it costs, and why it matters — no hidden fees, no pressure.

Quality Parts, Fair Prices

We use OEM and quality aftermarket parts — never cheap substitutes that fail in a month. And our labor rates are competitive because we believe in keeping Aroostook County mobile.

Fast Turnaround

We know you need your car to get to work, school, and everything in between. Most repairs are completed the same day — and we always give you a realistic timeline upfront.

Locally Owned & Operated

We're not a franchise. This is our community, our reputation, and our commitment to doing right by every driver who pulls into our bay on Chapman Rd.

Customer Stories

What Our Neighbors Say

We let our work speak for itself — but it helps to hear it from the people who drive away in our bay every day.

"Brought my truck in with a weird knocking sound and a check-engine light. They diagnosed it the same day, explained exactly what was wrong, and had it running smoothly by afternoon. No drama, no drama — just good work."

Mike R.

Presque Isle, ME

"I've been bringing my cars here for years. They've never once tried to sell me a repair I didn't need. That kind of honesty is hard to find, and I won't go anywhere else."

Sarah L.

Caribou, ME

"My A/C stopped working in the middle of July — not exactly a great time for it to die. Jackson Automotive got me in quickly, found the leak, and had it blowing cold again the same day. Lifesavers."
